Order out of Chaos

This series explores the ways in which space shapes personal identity and emotions, informed by the artist's frequent experiences of moving. Through painting, she seeks to express the emotions of "strangeness" and "familiarity," revealing how past spaces shape the present self.

Furthermore, it captures the historical identity of Korean architecture, addressing the conflicts and contradictions that arose amidst the rapid development of modern and contemporary Korean architecture under the ideology of economic growth. Expressing this within a surreal space, it presents deformed structures contrasting with the architecture of ancient civilizations, evoking feelings of anxiety and contradiction while simultaneously revealing a utopian aspiration.
